O jantar de integração do 20º Campeonato Mundial de Atletismo Master ocorreu nesta terça-feira, 22/10, na Casa do Gaúcho, em Porto Alegre. O evento, que reuniu vários atletas de toda a parte do mundo, começou com uma apresentação do grupo Tchê (formado pelos alunos de educação física da UFRGS). Segundo o dançarino Rafael Martinelli (foto), o grupo tem um objetivo de mostrar a herança, a tradição e a cultura do Rio Grande do Sul. Logo após a apresentação, os convidados puderam degustar de um bom e tradicional churrasco gaúcho.

Entre tantos atletas de diferentes países, encontramos dois casais que se conheceram em outras edições do WMA. O africano Tobias Philandor e a venezuelana Aleída Zarraga se encontraram no Mundial da Espanha, em 2005, engataram um romance, e casaram-se em 2011. O casal afirma que vai a todos os mundiais para comemorar sua união. Aleída, no campeonato de 2009, na Finlândia, apresentou sua amiga, também da Venezuela, Jenny Acunã, para o amigo de seu namorado, o holandês Jack Avendonk. Os dois também casaram em 2011. Eles mostram que há harmonia entre diferentes povos e que a mistura das nações é o diferencial do Mundial de Atletismo Master.
Após o jantar, a festa começou. A integração entre diferentes etnias foi regada por muita dança e boa música.
O mundial transforma a vida de muitos atletas e, entre encontros e desencontros, o que importa é a mistura de diferentes culturas, uma maneira de trocar experiências de vida.

Among so many athletes of so many countries, there where two couples who meet on previous editions of the WMA. The african Tobias Philandor and the venezuelan Aleida Zarraga, who first meet at the Spains WMA, in 2005, engage in romance, and mary at 2011. The couple claims that goes to every Championship to celebrate the union. Aleida, at the 2009 championship, at Finland, introduced her friend, also venezuelan, Jenny Acunã, to her boyfriend's friend, the dutch Jack Avendonk. They also marry in 2011. They show the harmony between different cultures and the mix among people that is characteristic of the World Masters Athletics.
After dinner, the party started. The integration between ethnicities was accompanied by lots of dance and good music.

El deporte mezclando culturas
La cena de integración del 20º Campeonato Mundial de
Atletismo Master ocurrió ese martes, 22.10, en la Casa do Gaúcho, en Porto
Alegre. El evento, que reunió varios atletas de todas las partes del mundo,
empezó con una presentación del Grupo Tchê, formado por estudiantes de
educación física de la UFRGS. Según el bailarín Rafael Martinelli, el grupo
tiene un objetivo de mostrar la herencia, la tradición y la cultura del Rio
Grande do Sul. Después de la presentación, los invitados pudieron disfrutar de
un buen y tradicional asado gaúcho.
Entre tantos atletas de diferentes países, encontramos
dos parejas que se conocieron em otras ediciones del WMA. El africano Tobías
Philandor y la venezolana Aleída Zarraga se encontraron en el Mundial de España,
en 2005, empezaron un romance y se casaron en 2011. La pareja afirma que va a
todos los mundiales para celebrar su unión. Aleída, en el campeonato de 2009,

culturas, una manera de cambiar experiencias de vida.
